Staff lo... read more Staying for 2 nights in hotel with one 3 course meal included. Set menu but great choice and meals straight off the wider menu. Portions very generous. Staff lovely especially Ewa who made us feel very welcome. Second night we returned without a voucher. Neither of us was very hungry and opted for a starter and a dessert. Lots of restaurants wouldn't accommodate this but it was no trouble to the Assaggio. Well deserving of the many Good Food awards. Lovely staff, excellent service and delicious food. Definitely a 5 star.

The early bird is fantastic value but unlike other restaurants where you may only have limited choices, Assagio offers a variety of gorgeous tasty dishes. Compliments to the staff too who are always pleasant and friendly.

The staff members are friendly and accommodating, the Italian dishes are excellent, and the bread is so delicious that I always end up eating too much and struggle to make room for dessert! I find it surprising that it's not more crowded considering its location in a densely populated area. Some standout dishes I've enjoyed include the scallops, lasagna, and seafood linguine. I highly recommend paying a visit here - you won't be let down.

We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed delicious meals - I had the chicken Puttanesca and my husband had the lamb, both cooked perfectly with tasty vegetable sides. The service was prompt and the prices were very reasonable for the high quality of food. The wine selection was also good. We would definitely dine here again.
