Karls Hof Küche - Ratekau

We were there for dinner when we were allowed to take the dogs and not out of the area... However, we would not have done this better (if we were going back directly, but spontaneously we had no alternative for the dogs. The light sparkled, it ran (or better: ran) over 1000 screaming children, then we sat at a long table at the edge of madness (with a canteen character), where constantly staff with loud carts, children and everyone else went (you couldn't even talk at the normal tables because of the volume and I didn't want to talk this to the dogs in the anger and ache circle... Eating extremely overpriced (which according to weight, tasteful but ok calculated), toilets old and down and just like in a horror movie... So: can be really nice in summer, but in the dark season only with hard nerves to carry a full purse and good immune system (must say that the dogs have survived everything with full version and best behavior). The end is that we will never go there.

I was there with my wife on weekends. A Corona party is a joke about it. Everything completely without hygiene concept and compliance with the aha rules. That's not a condition.

I was recently there to buy some bread. Unfortunately, this was no longer the case and I chose the strawberry bread. Wrong decision! Such a dry, tasteless bread must be baked first. The strawberry marshes consisted only of granular muses, even without taste. Lunch was average. The big carving was great. The supplements: fragrant roast potatoes, vegetables: cabbage and carrots were also fragrant and pale flavor; similar rubber. It was 11:30.

A concept for Karls Adventure Court. Friss or die. The prices are supernatural and if you do not want to buy strawberries, it will be strawberry jam or cheaper strawberry wine. The variants do not exclude the inventor. Even with foreign products such as strawberry beer, money is made. As long as there is a lot to flee, your money will always be hard to earn bad management and overpriced products that can not be worse. Yeah, it's so easy to make money.

Karls has now become a tourist trap from my own. Due to the Andrange, a hygienic concept is not even durable in the approach and the queues on the rides and stands frustrate big and small. In 2020, Karls was quite enjoyable with a visitor limitation and a functioning hygiene concept, but as here the money is more important than a reasonable process....naja. The second star just came because it doesn't cost an entrance, because it would be thrown out. The many possibilities that Karls offers are hardly usable for the smallest of the little ones because of the crowd. As a conclusion you can say when parents like to put themselves and your children under stress and bad mood, Karls is a good choice, for all others the trip is not recommended. If you have a dog, you'll only have unnecessary stress.
