Had requested for a good table and they ensured the good spot in the main room was reserved for us. We ordered the Western Christmas Set and the Oriental Set. I've had the Oriental Set before and it's definitely the go to. It comes with mostly Thai favourites and snacks. It is heavier on the savoury side and that's what I prefer. This time came with mango scones and a lime chilli sorbet (gives a kick and is surprisingly refreshing). The place has been maintained well and adorned with all the prominent guests who have visited and stayed at the hotel and the old Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. If you order a set for yourself, you get unlimited refills for 2 hours. So if you are planning on doing this, go on an empty stomach as the regular set itself is quite heavy. For vegetarians and vegans, they have a dedicated set so you'll not be left out. Will keep returning regularly.

The excellent service and attention provided to each guest to give them the best possible experience is amazing. I was luckily visiting BKK during the Chinese New Years and was able to try their special course which was a treat for the eyes and taste buds. Service was so good that my teacup was never left empty and I was asked if I wanted refills on any of the savory or sweet dishes all of which were amazing. I only wish I had a larger stomach size to enjoy more. If I were to nitpick about anything it would be the serving tongs that were provided with the course. Because of the shape/texture of some of the softer pieces it was unavoidable to slightly crush them when picking them up with the tongs. Leading to a slightly crushed or damaged look on the plate. Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend to others and visit again.
