The food was tasty, the view was nice, and the staff was friendly. The prices were quite high, but manageable. I would consider going back.
"We had a board match against The Ekenäs Bridge Club. During the breaks, we had lunch at The Restaurant Fyren. The salmon soup was delicious."
For 14 euros, you can enjoy an incredibly high-quality buffet with a variety of vegetables, meats, fish, soup, different types of bread, coffee, tea, and cookies. The quality is outstanding and definitely worth the price. I will definitely return to eat here again when I come back to town, and I highly recommend that you do too!
The servers had difficulties taking orders from a group of 20 people and handling the payments at the end. Some of the food was lukewarm and some had turned cold when served. The vegetables were overcooked and the fish did not taste much. Had chocolate mousse with caramel sauce in the middle for dessert but it was too sweet to finish it. The options for white wine by the glass were limited to a dry and a bit dryer Riesling, which seems odd for such a large restaurant. The view from the restaurant is great.
Very nice location and with great in- and outdoor views towards the charming Ekenäs harbour. The interior is a bit of a turnoff as it is very modern and almost sterile in appearance. The staff seemed very inexperienced and we had to do some work first to attract their attention and then one more time to make the order (as the waiter who directed us to our table and gave us the menus simply dissapeared). The food was a big dissapointment. The overpriced pretty portions were served from cold plates with cold al dente veggies. The fish was bony and overcooked and the lamb was o vercooked too. The price was 80 euros including a glass of white wine. No apologies, no refund...
