Very nice environment and the Birajani is really good as well as the lamb kebab. The lamb soup wasn’t good at all, we won’t recommend it and the sad thing is that the staff members didn’t removed this item from our check even though we barely tasted it. Just and advise make sure that anything you order even though it is not good you must be willing to be charged for. View all feedback.

It was my family's pleasure to have our first experience trying authentic Emirati food at Al Fanar Restaurant in Ras Al Khaimah. We tried many authentic dishes like the mixed platter of Koftat Samak, Samboosa, and Hobool, the Naghar Mashwi: grilled squid and Jesheed: crumbled baby shark with Arabic spices. The meal was concluded with an eclectic dessert platter that included Leqaimat (my favorite) and Arabic tea, the best we have ever had!
Had a great time eating in this restaurant.The menu is well organized and the photos on the menu look really appetizing! The Dango- chickpeas, is super delicious. We had a chicken sandwich wrapped in traditional bread. The sandwich is very flavorful and juicy. The Arabian tea is not too sweet and ends the simple meal satisfactorily. A rosewater hand wash is a pleasant ending and the service is simply delightful. I would definitely go back for the signature dishes such as the grilled quail!

The food was too good and you should definitely check the restaurant as it was developed on the basis of home in old days. Watch out for Kamel!! Your juices are freshly made. Just something, the restaurant is crowded in the evening so that reservation could help. Also pay attention to portions, as we were unable to complete our plate a machboos will be enough for two!
