This place is developing. You still see signs of old tired camping stuff but there is a lot going on working towards new things and buildings. The owner and sta... read more This place is developing. You still see signs of old tired camping stuff but there is a lot going on working towards new things and buildings. The owner and staff where very friendly. I see the future of this camping very positive. The one thing this camping needs fast is trees and lots of them because its now an open field and the wind is strong, relentless and never ending even with good weather. Or a wind wall with bushes.

We (2 adults, 3 boys 15, 13, 7) were a bit disappointed with the campsite but may also have been spoilt by our last one (Jungfrau). There are mostly permanent h... read more We (2 adults, 3 boys 15, 13, 7) were a bit disappointed with the campsite but may also have been spoilt by our last one (Jungfrau). There are mostly permanent holiday homes which are nicely landscaped. Unfortunately the Vacansoleil mobile homes are in a pretty barren area with little green around. Like they’ve been plonked down in rows In a field. They are also not very well equipped. Positives were the pool, which although small had a slide and was fine, and the staff who were friendly and accommodating. Not much of a shop to speak of although there are plenty of supermarkets nearby. Nice little play area with table tennis tables, chess board etc. Missed a dedicated football pitch. The restaurant was pretty basic. It’s a good base camp for lots of great activities within a 30-60 min range but not very pleasant just to hang out at.

A very nice and clean campsite. Ideal starting point for some really nice hikes. Friendly staff, swimming pool is clean. Enough space for tents and caravans. read more A very nice and clean campsite.
