Wanted to go with the family for a quick easy meal. The place was open but empty, I asked the person at the grill if I had to order there. Reply was that we can... read more Wanted to go with the family for a quick easy meal. The place was open but empty, I asked the person at the grill if I had to order there. Reply was that we can take a seat at the table and they will come to take the order. After waiting for over 15 minutes and the staff more interested in chatting we have decided to leave and spend our money at a place where they were happy with guests. Very disappointing…

The first time it was almost empty Sunday night , the second time the place was packed with locals ha... read more I stopped here twice during my stay in the Bollingen area. The first time it was almost empty Sunday night , the second time the place was packed with locals having a good time Wed night . The restaurant has two decoration schemes. One room is completely modern with a bar, the other room is the older traditional wood paneled room. On Sunday, since I had walked quite a bit from my B&B and it was raining, the owner was nice enough to give me a ride back to the B&B. Both times the food was very good. The prices were pretty normal for Switzerland. Note: There is almost no lighting outside, so it's pretty dark at night when you make your way out.
