Traditional, local Italian Ligurian food.... read more A short walk from the Excelsior Palace Hotel in Rapallo into San Michele you will find Wine Art is the 1st restaurant. Traditional, local Italian Ligurian food. The staff speak next to no English and were very tolerant of our attempts to speak Italian and the use of Google translate. Local, authentic, simple, tasty and inexpensive. Well worth a wander off the usual tourist beaten track to eat here.

The location is very clean and tidy, the restrooms are always spotless, the staff is friendly and helpful, and all the dishes are tasty and perfectly prepared. Personally, I think it's the best in the square! A well-stocked bar where you can have breakfast practically by the sea.
