Though locals may recommend this place, but the service for non-locals there is terrible, arrogant and cynical. The food itself may be relatively good – if you get it. We ordered only one set for one person – just to share between me and my wife, because we just wanted to taste local food without stuffing ourselves in the evening. Maybe this angered the manager, or maybe he misunderstood us – though he was very frantic anyway – because we got only half of the order (one meal instead of two, no dessert as promised) and were charged even 5€ more than in original order for some 'extra service '. The manager did not apologized – and even, in a clearly cynical manner, asked to write a 'favorite review on TripAdvisor '. So I must comply and be absolutely frank about it: avoid it, unless you are with some locals who frequent the place. Because the locals are served almost immediately, while tourists must wait for almost an hour, without any explanation. Ciao, Kyo-fish! Rapallo is full of much better and friendlier – and less costly – places!
We ate red fish soup, tasty and reach in flesh. I was amazed by the price I paid (55 euros for 2 plates of soup and two glasses of wine and in fact I haven't received the bill), I am rather sure that we were cheated which leaves you a bittery taste at the end.
Had lunch in this place amazing choice of fresh seafood. You can definitely find what you like. Everything was cooked very good, tiramisu for desert was delicious!
We stopped here for dinner one evening. The meal was generous without being too large. Service was great. We always enjoy dining outside in Italy and this restaurant is located on a quiet, pedstrian walk way. We'd have stopped back again, but some many restaurants, to try, so little time on a trip!
