Good food, good price! We had a pleasant surprise with the daily menu specials. Good amount and quality of food. In a group of 8 we were all very happy.
Passing by the side of the Endine lake, we decided to stop for a small lunch. The restaurant has a huge terrace on the lake side of the road. The waiters run across the rather busy road with apparently no fear. Could be worse for a guest wanting to use the toilet beware of the traffic! The terrace is more like a tent or shed rather primitive. But the view over the lake is lovely. The food is an uneven experience, if one judges from the comments here on Tripadvisor. We had lunch and it was quite good, although the fish was so so... Otherwise typical north Italian style food, quite genuine and without any kind of fuzz. For instance: the Vitello Tonnato was more than ok. Although many guests at lunch, service was swift and ok. And not expensive in any way.
By the side of lake Endine NW from Bergamo. Huge terrace by the lake, pleasant view somewhat diminished by the poor design of the roofing. Familiar northern Italian food of acceptable quality. Unenthusiastic service. Do not have a wine list during lunch hours.
Facilitate parking, room dated, but dining room clean, fast service.fixed price with choice between first and second, contour, water, wine and coffee. Quality in line with the price, good place x an unpretentious and economical lunch
It is a restaurant on the road to love, with a large veranda on the lake (which is undoubtedly its strong point.) also has a large private parking lot. the menu is varied, perhaps with unspoiled dishes but undoubtedly well cooked. The cottages, homemade, were a delight: the perch we took second, well fried and quality. sweets are pastries, but still good. it might need some extra maintenance in some areas, and certainly the price is slightly challenging. But undoubtedly, I should go back there, I would be glad to go back.
