What’s a fantastic little burger place. I enjoyed the chicken with satay sauce with extra kick. I wouldn’t have expected this quality of a burger in such location, the deserts and coffee were good too, however it’s not licence but in think it’s BYO. Will...return for a lunch time burger. What Keyshawn Roberts dislikes about Ranelagh General Store:
Thought we should try out this place , my grandkids ordered the traditional burger , at $17 .50 wasn’t over impressed ,could have gotten the same thing at the takeaway shop for less than $10 dollars and it doesn’t include any chips , the Thai...menu is very limited and small serves you will need to order starter as well to fill u up View all feedback.
Been here 2 times now, delicious food at all times, great value and service. Chilli fries very tasty, best burgers in the Huon Valley.
We are on holiday in Hobart and we saw an advertisement in a tourist brochure for the Ranelagh General Store. A couple of days later on Saturday morning, we were travelling along the Huon Highway and we thought we would take a three kilometre detour...More
We stumbled upon this café by accident. Our group was getting hungry and decided to turn off the main road and from the corner of our eyes, noticed an old building with orange flags. When we stepped in, it felt like we stepped back in time, a place with old world charm. We expected the usual café style food but were pleasantly surprised with the menu. Food was fantastic, and exceeded our expectations. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Enjoyed our time in this great café and great town. Well done folks
The owners and staff are always very welcoming and the food is always prompt to your table and delicious.
This restaurant is so unassuming but it’s the third time I’ve been and my companions were very happy with their experience. The lighting and decor give a comfortable, intimate yet quirky atmosphere. The music is at just the right volume. The food was fresh and produced in house. There was only one negative comment from the group and that was that the Wilbur burger was supposed to have blue cheese on it but they couldn’t taste it and it seemed to be just plain cheese. We had a really great time and felt it was good value for money. Although we chose to BYO, there was an interesting choice of non alcoholic options on the menu too. Thank you for a great meal.
