From the last of our party of 15 arri... read more This restaurant is not prepared for a large party. Our wait was unacceptable and the food was not worth the time or money. From the last of our party of 15 arriving at 7.15pm we didn't get our entrees until 8.30pm, mains at 9.45pm, and dessert at 10.30pm. I'm also incredibly disappointed at witnessing my dessert at another table an hour earlier at least 2-3 times the size of what I received later in the night. The size of the portions spaced so far apart meant I left still feeling hungry, not what I would expect from a $75 meal. A complimentary two bowls of chips (between 15 people) is not enough to make up for the poor experience, and while I appreciate the sincere apologies from front of house (who seemed just as frustrated as I was), I will not bother returning here.

The service is friendly but can be a bit haphazard with the waitresses at a loss as to what they are doing or which tables they are responsible for. Food is wholesome & generous but some lack balance & finess. It is a nice place for an enjoyable, cosy & comforting meal.
