I am not used to going out to restaurants where kids run the restaurant and there is no adult supervision. Maybe it's a NJ thing. The male server was excellent. However, there was this waitress she didn't follow proper protocols for covid. She had her mask down, rubbed her nose with bare hands and didn't wash them afterwards. Although the server (Samantha was Very good, 4 of the 5 orders came out incorrectly 1. Wrong Bun and no Cheese on the Veggie Burger (Wife 2. No Cheese and rare hamburger instead of medium (Mom 3. The food was generally poor, the drinks were average, and the service, while friendly, was excruciatingly slow. I'd recommend going to the diner instead. Also, it was quite overpriced.
The beer selection is exceptional, and the food is delicious. The bartender has an impressive knowledge of craft beers, creating a fantastic atmosphere. It's a wonderful place for great vibes and engaging conversations!
This place is amazing. I've only had delivery until this weekend, but finally had a chance to go in to eat. Food was delicious, as always, but atmosphere was fantastic. The band was wonderful. The server was very attentive and efficient. Wife loves the miso salmon. The appetizers were delicious. Steaks and burgers are my preference, and I went with the NJ steak frites this time. Cooked perfectly, and so happy that we went in person finally. Plan on going back often, as there are so many things I want to try. Lucky to have a place like this around the corner.
Love going to SBK, seeing Craig,and Alex's smiling face behind the bar. Always a cool, new brewery dropping, always fresh, quality food, always a nice, homey atmosphere. As a small business owner myself, I certainly appreciate the effort!!
