Everything was great. The mussels tasted like the ocean as if it were harvested this morning. The fish tasted fresh and was moist, cooked perfectly. Even the chips was fresh and not over cooked. Well Done Ocean Basket Ferndale. Incredible food and offerings, great value for money WOW! Awesome new fresh look, the kids play ship in the garden is great!
I had a really good experience at Ocean Basket Ferndale on Republic I went there for the sushi making class. The food and drink are amazing
Wait staff could be better. Took forever to have table cleared and get the bill because she never came back after giving us out food.
Hein ordered the Fish and Calamari combo with lemon butter sauce. A big portion and absolutely delicious! I phoned them beforehand to ensure they had Whitebait ... a starter portion of fried Whitebait (and what a big portion! absolutely yummy!!!!!!!!!! Side of crumbed Zucchini ... delicious!!! Bread rolls always good, service excellent and Hein's white wine was crisp and cold.
