Food is good (excellent desserts), service is average but the bill is very expensive. An example? 3€ for an espresso, up to 18€ for an entree. Definitely too much, even with a paradise view in front of you. Reccomended only if you can enjoy your meal forgetting its cost.

Even as darkness fell, they didn't lose their allure. The service was good, the menu extensive, the food slightly overshadowed by the location. I enjoyed the meal but would return more for the ambiance.

Very good sight on the lake and nice personnels. We were here on a quiet night, serenaded by an eclectic mix of... read more The setting of this restaurant is fantastic, with big picture windows overlooking Lake Maggiore. We were here on a quiet night, serenaded by an eclectic mix of Italian love songs and Queen. The food was beautifully prepared, interesting and flavoursome. We took the sword fish (fabulous) and asparagus ravioli (very good), followed by the fillets of perch with aubergine and tomatoes set off by balsamic vinegar (beautiful just a little oily but that doesn't spoilt it). OK, its not cheap (98 euros for 2 people, 2 courses, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and two coffees). But you will enjoy it.
