The prime rib was cook perfectly soft, but favor wise I definitely enjoyed the rib eye more. I love the free bread mix with salt lavender butter. I've never had duck fat potatoes but they were delicious. I would definitely recommend the service was excellent. View all feedback.
What Michael Teufenkjian doesn't like about The Steakhouse Rancho Mirage:
A $88 Rib Eye steak was like rubber and was not cooked as ordered, I had to send it back three times to have it redone but it didn’t help, the meat was poor quality. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
The steak are amazing here... the Filet Oscar the Bone-In Ribeye are my favorite The shrimp pasta is also really good, if you're not a big steak eater. The shrimp are HUGE!!
Must make reservations ahead of time. Sat at the bar. Andrew, our bartender was a delight. Great service. Delish food. Party of two. Cobb Salad, Calamari, and Rib eye. Will we definitely be returning!
The service is great. It’s my birthday so the meal is great . Best dinner ever and with the recommendation from our awesome server Juan, I had a birthday wish over a pineapple upside down cake that didn’t stand a chance.!
The food was a delight and definitely an experience no matter what you choose off the menu! Steak, lobster, bananna fosters...I'm in heaven! Wonderful experience!
We made 8:30 reservations. The ambiance of the place is very nice. You feel that you are eating at a great high end steakhouse. We had the hamachi appetizer and it was very good. Our server was also very nice and professional. For dinner we ordered then ribeye and the bison bone in filet. We ordered the loaded bake potatoes and spinach as sides. While m we made reservations the restaurant was not that busy and it took an hour for our steaks to arrive. I don’t mind waiting if a place is busy but I don’t think that was the case in our situation. We spent $107 dollars on the bone-in bison filet and I asked for it prepared rare. It came cooked at a medium. For the price I had to send it back and have it cooked the way I asked. When the server came back she said the chef said the ay I wanted it is called ordering it blue. Blue or rare same difference to me. I was happy they made me a new steak and this time they got the temperature in point, but by now and hour and twenty minutes in and not being able to eat wt the same time as my partner I was over it. I was happy to spend the money on the price pint of the restaurant but the prices did not reflect in the overall experience. My recommendation for someone staying at Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage would be to skip the steakhouse and go to rhe 369 Sports Bar.
