Contribute FeedbackThe experience at this Famous Dave's location was disappointing with poor service and barely warm food. Despite honoring Open Table reservations, delays in taking orders, waiting for food, and receiving the bill caused stress and disappointment. A lack of communication between staff and long wait times marred the experience for many guests. However, there were instances of exceptional service from employees like Martin and Jessica, who turned around a negative experience with attentiveness and warmth. While the food and drinks received positive reviews overall, the inconsistency in service and efficiency left many customers feeling dissatisfied with their visit.
When we arrived for our reserved time, the hostess explained that they don't honor reservations made on open table during the weekend and that if we wanted to wait it would be hours. It's unacceptable that a restaurant chooses to partner with a serviced like open table and then refuses to honor the reservation made. I will never return to this Famous Dave's, and quite frankly given that it's a chain establishment this experience is enough incentive to avoid all of their locations.
Service was slow for the amount of customers. The food was okay. I feel like I paid too much for what I got.
They were not able to see Open Table reservation, but honored it and sat after just a short wait. But taking our order, waiting for food, waiting for a tray for remnants, waiting for invoice all lasted 15-30 minutes and several requests. Finally left cash and left as no one came back to the table. Shortened bill and went so fast I couldn't pay with the card. Trying to pay in the register, but was rejected and said to wait at the table for waiters who never came back. Various servers would check but not come back. The food was hardly warm. This should be a special annual meal with my daughter. It was stressful and disappointing. Service and food last year were better and it was more busy last year. I felt bad because people could wait a lot earlier if the service had been better.
