I had a wonderful experience celebrating a 21st birthday! The staff, food, and ambiance were fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp scampi. Highly recommend!

When we arrived, we wanted to sit outside, but the hostess was unsure if a table was available and even asked the guests at a neighboring table if they were leaving. My toddler was running around, and I was rocking my newborn, and after waiting 15 minutes without any service, I decided to ask if someone would come to take our order. It was baffling that they didn't even check if we were staying or not; it shouldn't take a guess! The hostess could have simply approached us to confirm, which would have been much clearer. The waiter informed us that it was his first day back since the pandemic, but it felt like none of the staff cared about the fact that we were visibly frustrated. The hostess brought us water without any acknowledgment, and her attitude suggested she was more important than the customers. After ordering, we waited almost an hour for our food to arrive, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy at the time. They didn't serve any bread or appetizers during the wait; it would have been nice to get at least some bread if they were taking so long. The waiter never provided updates on our order, nor did he apologize for the delay, which was very disappointing. When the food finally arrived, I found my chicken to be dry and the pasta overly watery. The only dish that was satisfactory was the burger. Overall, this experience was so unpleasant that we will not be returning to this restaurant.

My wife had the Angle hair spaghetti and shrimp, I had cooked the hamburgers absolutely to perfection (medium rare). Both meals were AWESOME!!! But the appetizer was INCREDIBLE!! It was the meatball in a special sauce.

While I stayed at Marriott in Rancho Cordova, I decided to go down and have breakfast in Formaggio. I sat, looked around and found that I was the only person who had breakfast, except another table with two people. So it wasn't very busy. The staff seemed nice. What I didn't understand is that my order of two posing eggs over a potato hash with bacon and Hollandaise sauce, more room temperature than hot. The worn eggs were not runny and that the Hollandaise sauce had already picked up and set. As you do not get served hot food in a non-business restaurant of this style. It's not Dennys. The sad thing is if the Hollandaise sauce had been served warm and the egg yolk was casual, it would have been a tasty dish and it was worth experiencing. Maybe the bar here attracts people and not the food.

We ordered food at the bar to go to eat by the pool and take to the room late Sunday evening. It took a very long time for someone to help us at the hostess stand, then even longer for someone at the bar to take our order. Not a lot of options on the menu, especially simple options for kids. The food was good, we ordered a variety of apps and an entree to split. The sausage appetizer was one sausage split down the middle.
