Ok, I've been going to this spot (ONLY smoke bbq at all I get) since covid and I have NEVER had anything that but the Best bbq, you owners are bar none the Nices people! Now.... I had a piece of pork rib (end piece) that changed pork ribs forever for me. It had the Perfect flavor, texture, and was just MIND BLOWING! I actually have half of it for later! Damn, I am in a Food Coma and Glued to the couch. Seriously do y... View all feedback.
What Layne Schmitt doesn't like about Daddy O's:
Really nice brisket, but the menu is quite pricey. The photo has a pulled pork sandwich $13 and a 2 meat meal for $25 and the mac'n'cheese is $3 extra. The brisket stood out as the hero, and the meat was so soft I had no problems giving it to my 18-monthold. Everything else was good, just not great. It wasn't too busy but the staff seemed to lack experience and the kitchendisorganized. The wait time for the food was... View all feedback.
I ordered the tritip with mac n cheese and beans. The meat was perfectly cooked and flavorful! There was a hefty amount of sides included. Didn't short you on serving size when it comes to the sides. The mac n cheese was slightly mushy but still good. Beanswere awesome! Overall, very pleased and will be back again to try other meats.
The food was more than enough. The ribs was falling off the bone(so tender the brisket was nice thick. Yams was just right not too sweet. I wish had cornbread to go with the greens. And the chef came out to check on you. Definitely will be back
Placed an order online around 5pm. I ordered the brisket platter with two sides and two rolls: Mac and cheese and collard greens and a slice of lemon pound cake. My order was prepared on time and was ready for pickup. The portion size may be a tad smallfor the price. I 'm not really talking about loading up on more protein but more on the sides. A hefty plate of southerncuisine deserves enough to save for the next day; when greens are made they always taste better the next day. They were veryclean and light. While I don 't mind the stem pieces, there 's very little to none in their greens. That 's not really acomplaint, I just know some have preferences. Bottom line is they are good. The Mac and cheese... oh man do I wish it hadthat hard crust of baked goodness on top. You know, the one that had that crunch because the one noodle got baked with nocheese? Again no complaints on the Mac and cheese it was delicious. The brisket was delectable as well. It was tender, wellseasoned, and cut thiccc. It had the taste of the wood fired grill. Please don 't be scared to top them plates off. If itleaks collards juice, then so be it. If the Mac and cheese spills over into my greens then God put it there for me to enjoy. If you want to hide coleslaw under my brisket then by all means hide as much as you can under there. I came for soul for with ahefty appetite. Shout out to the one rib movie reference. Not sure what two- cents gets me from the menu.

Oh my goodness!!! I popped in right after they closed but they still allowed me to order. I got beef ribs. I had several errands to run so by the time I was able to eat, my food was cold. The food was so good even cold! Potato salad was homemade with freshcut seasonings! The greens were well seasoned as well!!! I figure if it?s this good cold, once I warm it up ????! I highlyrecommend for true yummy BBQ! The ribs are so good they don?t even need bbq sauce! I was surprised by the price, but it?s beentough to find quality and tasty food.
