Windmill - Ramsgate

This pub was a fantastic discovery. The bar staff were incredibly nice and friendly, and the atmosphere was lively. The food was excellent as well. It's also a perfect spot for a meal before heading to a gig at The Red Arrow Club, which is just a few minutes away. I highly recommend this pub!

I made a reservation for a special occasion, but when we arrived, the bartender was unaware of our booking and informed us that there was no one available to prepare any food. It was incredibly frustrating, especially since we had booked in advance. Ultimately, we had to resort to getting takeout, which was not how I envisioned our evening. I was very disappointed.

We made a reservation, but it seemed like no one was aware of our arrival. Our group of around 12 was mostly ignored. Initially, we were overcharged, and some of the items we ordered were forgotten. One dish arrived only after we had finished eating. The food was acceptable but not served hot. There were only two staff members present, one of whom was the cook. Overall, we left feeling disappointed.

We never had chance to eat at this place The Windmill. When we turned up it was closed due to kitchen cooker not working few hours before on that morning but didn’t have the decency to contact us on the day. We travelled especially.
