Stopped in on a whim with my mom on a roadtrip. It felt like being invited to a friend 's table. Owners knew all the regulars by name; almost didn 't have to take their orders. We felt so welcomed as the "strangers from out of town. "The food was absolutely fantastic! Delicious and home-cooked. I will definitely be stopping by the next time I 'm in this part of Indiana. Stopped in on my way to visit a high school down the street. At the Crystal Cafe, they were very accommodating and let me use their wifi to work while I ate breakfast. Everything was extremely reasonably priced and when I shared that I didn’t have cash, the cashier offered me a free coffee. She also pointed me to an ATM down the street which was very convenient. Food was great, service was great, loved that they had a special room for kids to play in too.
This is a great place for breakfast. They had everything we like in a small hometown breakfast. We love stopping in here on our way to Potako Lake.Eating an excellent breakfast is the best way to start your day.Parking: You can miss this place. It's across the street from the Post Office North Harrison School.
