that we love, had to be a visit to this alm. the cheese plate was very tasty (because we shared one, there was even a slice of bread extra) and the look fabulous. the host people are presumably a little overwhelmed, due to the numerous visitors, but we were still served nicely. we will definitely take us home again, because there you can see everyone there that she has a happy life. just wanted to have a drink and look at the cheese shop. the service was fast but it lacks passion and job-loving. a personal on the alm and in this prestigious opposite must have this. only the owner (?) then showed us the cheese, which was really great. On recommendation from our hotel chef, we have moved to the walcheralm and wanted to taste and buy the self-made cheese. After we were completely ignored first and after that with bad looks almost killed, we had a cheese to let us pay more than we had actually said. the unkindness was confirmed to us by several other guests (so it was not ours) to say something positive again: the more than a hundred years old hut was really original and eating looked more than delicious. for the rusting and strengthening is certainly better removed here, but I would rather buy my cheese elsewhere;)

Close to the street to Dachstein cable car, located directly at the adlerlift with its own cheese factory. wonderful sun terrace - there are still suns when the valley is long gone - and a totally rustic interior.
