Although I've never tried their American dishe... read more I have been dining at Amerorient in Ramona, CA for several years and have consistently enjoyed great meals there. Although I've never tried their American dishes, my grandchild loves the spaghetti. My go-to order is usually the Almond Chicken, which is my favorite! However, I've also shared other items from the menu when dining with family. A few months ago, I introduced a friend from "down the hill" to the restaurant, and now we visit about once a month for lunch on the weekends. She tends to be more adventurous with her choices and has tried the walnut shrimp and other shrimp dishes. We both agree that there are very few Chinese restaurants that serve high-quality food, especially when compared to the typical Chinese buffets and fast-food-style eateries.

The waitress was very nice and attentive, and the owner came out to greet us and make us feel welcome. It was a wonderful experience.

I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, Hunan Beef, and Chicken Lo Mein, and found them all to be quite bland and not at all authentic. It really lived up to its name in that regard!
