Was C M at Vidrio a mag?
Lovely restaurant. Our last time here was in Jan 2020 so right before the pandemic. It was great then and is great now. We ordered the grilled romaine salad, short ribs, beef skewers and burrata root vegetable mix. All of the food was 10/10. The atmosphere inside is just lovely and so much to gaze at on the walls. You walk in and feel like you are transported somewhere else in a good way. Emily was a great server and... View all feedback.
What Monte Mills dislikes about Vidrio:
We were three adults with two (well dressed and well behaved) children at 5 p.m. on a Sunday. The restaurant was half empty and the rude hostess pushed us to a high bar table between a gas station and the kitchen door. According to someone other than the hostess, they were taken to a normal table. The staff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. The service took forever, the orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it had been hit with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were amazing.
The ribs weren't done enough in our opinion. We haven't fallen off the bone quality. The taste is good, just not cooked the way I like it.
Fancy deco and atmosphere, but food was just so so and price is above average. Octopus was burned (cancer causing! , lamb was not tender and chewy, skewers were good and the fried lettuce with tahini sauce (a free appetizer fir our table educated wasnice was a nice touch. Salmon was ok but farmed salmon only especially for that price. They do have lots of space inside withnice art work and large dining table with sofas. Just not a place for good food ????
