Tony's Pizza - Raleigh

This restaurant serves authentic New York-style pizza by the slice. The crust is thinner than pan-style but crispy and sturdy enough to be eaten by hand. I loved the freshness of the pizza and thought it tasted just like a family recipe.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this restaurant. I decided to grab some slices for dinner while I was at the shopping mall, and I was very impressed. The slices were large and packed with flavor. Despite being thin, the crust was still crispy on the bottom, making it easy to pick up and fold. I will definitely be returning.

The customer service at this restaurant was very disappointing. We arrived more than 20 minutes before closing time, but were rudely told that they were done for the night. It was evident that the employees did not want to serve us. I will not be returning to this restaurant or recommending it to others.

The subs at this restaurant are delicious, but the pizza is a bit floppy. We have visited in the past and the slices were firmer than the ones we received tonight. When I say floppy, I mean it looked like it needed to be hung out on a clothesline. It's possible we just caught them on an off night.

I have never tried the pizza at this restaurant, but I always go for the sandwiches. The quality of the food and customer service has always been excellent during my one year of frequenting this place. I come here three times a week and the staff recognize me now, knowing my order before I even say it.
