The best hot dogs in the world! Just eating here is an experience on your own. George and Kathy make the place entertaining with their enthusiasm and love to serve the community. Old school, drive at the counter, kind place that is a must while in Raleigh. View all feedback.
What Don Carnicle Jr doesn't like about The Roast Grill:
Adorable old school charm however, this place is super tiny maybe fits 8 people at the counter with 2 small tables. No outdoor seating. Not fancy, just hot dogs, chips drinks, cash only. That said, if you want a quick hot dog sweet people it's wortha trip. View all feedback.
The Roast Grill Hot Wieners has 32 things on its menu: soda, beer, 1 hot dog, 2 hot dogs, 3 hot dogs, 4 hot dogs, 5 hot dogs all the way up to 30 hot
I've heard so much about this place so I checked it out with my sisters.
My coworker told me about Roast Grill couple weeks ago complimenting their amazing hot dogs.
Excellent hot dogs just the way I like ?em! History, nostalgia, a blast from the past. Enjoyed conversation with the owner and will return next time in the area.
You know it's gonna be good when you're standing in line next to a sweet, retired couple that has been consistently eating here for decades. I'm glad I came here right before it opened because the line gets long quick and you want to be able to sit andenjoy the cute diner experience. George and Cathy are absolutely delightful. I ordered the hot dog with everything (mustard, slaw, onions, and chili). The chili is what makes the dog so yummy. According to the retired couple, it took George years tomaster his grandma's recipe. I also got the pound cake which was nice and moist. So glad this was my first meal during myweekend trip to Raleigh!
