The Capital Grille - Raleigh

Our experience was excellent. our waiter was excellent. eating was as always well prepared and served at the right temperature.

We went to the capitol grille for 2 birthdays and a dedication feeder. the service and eating were very good, it was a little loud. the restaurant was very full and we had a table of six, it might be easier if there were only 2-4 for the noise. I really like this place, but I wouldn't say it's excellent for the cost. I must say the table presentation for our celebrations and the dessert was very nice.

Our waiter, russell, was very helpful and each dish was served as we had demanded. our meal was served immediately, but we were not rushed in any way. would certainly go back.

We came to capital grille as we were told how great it was, but during the time we were there we were getting a burned steak. it should be rare, and the balsamic that was on it was so burned that the automatics completely gone. I had the chefs holiday speciality of truthahn and dressing, the truthahn had no taste out of water and the dressing was such a small part that I was decided to eat the green beans. and my after dinner coffee came in a dirty cup with some materie that clung to the felge. but the night was not a total loss our server was a dream, and the drinks from the bar I loved and the man came immediately to fix a wobble table. I'm not sure if it was the problem and I really hope we were just a fuke of and experience. I would not recommend this facility to any of my friends or colleagues. it is a shame that all the good things that I had heard were scattered from food quality and portions. for the prices we paid.
