Sassool - Raleigh
Sassool
Description
Sassool, a popular Mediterranean restaurant, offers a diverse menu that has charmed many with its fresh, flavorful dishes and friendly service. Diners rave about the kabobs, shawarma, and healthy salads, praising the quality and authenticity of the food. However, some have expressed disappointment over inconsistent service and quality, particularly concerning desserts and customer interactions. While many appreciate the vibrant atmosphere and quick service, calls for a return to the original culinary standards suggest a need for rejuvenation. Overall, Sassool remains a beloved spot, but improvement in consistency and customer care is vital for retaining loyal patrons.

The food here is so fresh and absolutely delicious!! They have a market so you can buy some of your favorite things for home. If I?m having people over (or don?t feel like cooking) I just get a bunch of containers to go. Fresh out of the oven pita bread, and gluten free and vegan dessert options! It?s literally the best, I can take anyone here and we all can get what we want toeat! The staff is really friendly and these wafers are the so good! One of my favorite spots in Raleigh!
I have been working in the market for two months- luckily walked into the Cary location my second week- and have now had lunch here 10+times. Always amazing, the Mediterranean chicken salad and hummus with olives and oil are unbelievable- I have toldeveryone on my teams to try it and everyone has had amazing things to say!
If you enjoy Mediterranean food, you must try Sassool! We got a kabob platter and a four side platter. Everything was delicious and filling! They also have a wonderful selection of desserts. You can also purchase grocery items here. They have a niceelections of decently priced items.
We were in Raleigh last week visiting My Baby Sister and her Hubby so we had to eat out to keep her out of the kitchen. We convinced them to eat Middle Eastern and they recommended this great Lebanese restaurant. The food was so good I forgot to takepictures. I did take a picture of their stuffed dates, really out of this world, though. Their spanakopita was the best I haveever eaten. It?s worth a drive there for that alone. The rest of my choices were excellent. I will eat there again on my nextvisit to Raleigh.
I’ve tried almost everything on the menu at Sassool, and every dish is delicious. The staff is consistently friendly, even during busy times. I highly recommend the kabob, chicken salad, chicken Shawarma sandwich, and autumn root salad. You truly can’t go wrong with anything here, especially their freshly made pita!
