San Jose Mex Tequila - Raleigh

I was in the mood for fajitas and the vegetable fajitas at this restaurant are quite good, with a nice variety of veggies beyond the usual onions, peppers, and mushrooms. I also liked that they have a vegan option clearly marked on the menu. While I personally found it a bit simple for my taste, I do appreciate that the staff seems knowledgeable about vegan options. Just a note: if you order the vegetable fajitas, make sure to let your server know if you don't want any dairy on the side of rice and beans.

There were not many options available at this restaurant. When I requested a vegan burrito, they assured me they could make it. However, I received a tortilla filled with grilled onions instead.
