Sam Jones Bbq - Raleigh

We came in and ordered the three meat combo. Chopped BBQ, slow cooked chicken, and smoked turkey with the Mac and cheese and potato salad (May use miracle whip not Mayo) sides for $21.99. They had run out of the ribs and the baked beans. This plate islarge enough for 2 people to share in my opinion.

I got the pulled pork, which is really good with the vinegar sauce. The mac and cheese was decent. I did not get a chance to taste the potato salad like I wanted, overall I gave them a four stars. Customer service was amazing

This place has the best BBQ! My new favorite and I am so glad that I found it. The meat is cooked too perfection. Try the smoked turkey it is fully cooked but tender, no dryness. This place won't disappoint. The customer service was good as well.

I would definitely try this BBQ again. The staff was friendly and attentive. The pulled pork was tender and good with the vinegar sauce added, and the smoked wings were great. The BBQ chicken had a good smoky flavor and it was juicy and tender. Thecollards were delicious, but I could have done without the large strings of pulled pork in them. Coleslaw was traditional andsweet and the fries were like good fair fries. This place is worth another visit, I just wish they had brisket and okra!

Are here on Sunday afternoon. Service was fast and accurate. The food came out quick and was hot. Disappointed they didn't have brisket. The Turkey was good. The chicken wings were not what I would expect from a Bbq restaurant. The were small and had nosmoke flavor, really had no flavor at all. Were told they were dry rubbed.
