I've always enjoyed Ruth's Chris, but I don't believe it'll be my first choice in the future. It was noisy and a little cramped. Granted, we were seated next to the main path leading from the kitchen . In addition, during the reservation process we were asked if we were celebrating anything special. We were. I explained. Not sure why I shared this piece of information because really nothing was done by the restaurant... View all feedback.
What Braxton Osinski doesn't like about Ruth's Chris Steak House - North Raleigh:
The food was tasty. The waiter was a little less than average as far as skill set. I didn't care for how they ran out of bread. It was very noisy in the section that we were sat in. But all in all it was not a bad experience just didn't knock my socks off. View all feedback.
This was our second visit to Saltwater Grill. The food was delicious and the service unmatched. We will definitely dine here again on our next visit to Galveston.

We sat at the bar and tried to get served. Finally left after about 10 minutes. Just an odd overall experience of being ignored. Disappointed as we were looking forward to some seafood
The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well.
We enjoyed a satisfying and tasty meal here in convivial surrounds. Staff were good. Value was excellent.
