Rise North Raleigh-sutton Square

This was my first time in PDQ and the fact I felt the need to leave a (great) review says it all. The chicken was delicious, but the staff was extremely friendly and more importantly it looked like they were enjoying their time at work. According to my receipt, “Shane W”’was at the register when I walked up. He was in such a great mood and worked with me through the menu (easy menu I just am new to PDQ). He checked up on the customers in the restaurant and he was clearly doing more than I’m sure he’s expected. Great place, great staff. Support this place if you’re able.

I wanted to give a special shout out to the manager at this location. He was very personable and very understanding and helpful even when I made a mistake in placing my order. He offered excellent customer service, all the food was correct, and on time. I will definitely be coming here again and thank you for helping me get that vanilla shake right

I loved this place when it first opened; while I realize that COVID has impacted the restaurant industry in a lot of different ways, I feel the customer service has declined at this establishment. At the end of May 2022; my husband and I visited this establishment. The only difference in our meal was one item; we consumed exactly the same food otherwise for the rest of the day, so I knew that the food poisoning had to be caused by that on item. I notified the store, and the health department on May 30, 2022. I received a call from the health department with follow-up questions; I then received a phone call from a male representative (whose name I won't post) basically telling me that I was just wrong, that I had no idea what I ma talking about, that all the temps were in range, etc. Essentially, he just barely stopped short of calling me a liar. As someone who has worked in food service for 18 years, this is not the most beneficial way to handle this. I have the receipts for what I ate, I went through the proper channels, and I know that people lie about the temps on occasion or fudge the numbers. I also know that COVID has impacted business, but that is no reason to serve bad product, which is what would have had to happen for me to become as sick as I did. This is beside the burnt fries and overcooked chicken tenders because, which those are not great to eat, they can't make you sick. What can? Expired or bad dairy products. I am so disappointed in how I was treated and and spoken to; I truly enjoyed this place and was simply hoping they were having an off night. However, after experiencing how the leadership treats people they don't agree with, I will not set foot in this establishment again. And I will tell everyone I know not to either. Protecting my friends from poor service and potential sickness is something I should do. Good luck.

So happy the dining room is open! It's always so nice and clean. The fresh tenders are my favourite with sweet Sriracha paired with the broccoli and mountain of parmesan cheese.. speedy friendly service too!

I recently had my first experience at PDQ, and it was fantastic! My companion and I both ordered the spicy tender combos and were extremely pleased with our meals. The food arrived in under five minutes and was fresh and hot. Our server, Steve, was friendly and had a great sense of humor. I appreciated how he was always busy cleaning or helping others when he wasn’t taking orders. If you find yourself in Raleigh, definitely check this place out!
