They were slow to take our order, did not provide serving dishes for the appetizers, and seemed disorganized. The main course server appeared to be inexperienced, leading the waitress who took our order to have to serve the meals herself. There were also issues with missing condiments and utensils, as well as a lack of check-ins from the waitress throughout the meal. Despite these shortcomings, my family and I enjoyed the food and will likely return, hoping that our experience was just a one-off. However, based on other reviews, it seems that improving the service should be a priority for the restaurant. We urge Red Monkey to address this issue.

We get there... read more I am completely disappointed in Red Monkey. I made dinner reservations for Monday June 10,2019 for a party of 9 for my sons graduation celebration. We get there and there is a sign that states “closed for annual cleaning”? A man comes to the door and tells me it “just came up” NOT a phone call nor email to let me know that they could not honor my reservation. A complete disappointment to my family that were visiting from NJ. I raved about how great the food was and that the place reminds me of home (Jersey) My son was looking forward to celebrating with family and have Spanish food. I traveled 35 minutes for this. Shame on Red Monkey for ruining what should of been a great celebration with family Lisett

However, after expressing our disappointment, the manager promptly came over, evaluated the situation, and reorganized the tables for us. That is exceptional customer service. Furthermore, the food was incredible! The Puerto Rico Day buffet exceeded our expectations. (See our photos of the empty plates after the feast!)
