Freaking delicious! I'm from Florida and miss this style of food. So ecstatic that I was introduced to this place. I chose the selection 2 so that I could sample both the Cuban sandwich and the fountain of the youth salad. Both were incredibly tasting and well done. Absolutely not starving here! It was a coincident weekday afternoon and we were randomly in the area when we noticed pressed off the road. After a quick search we realized that this would be a unique lunch experience, so we in. there are limited parking right in front, but additional spots are on the side. the restaurant server puerto rican tariff and is very lively with turquoise blue walls as they enter. we looked at the menu and asked about the special suppe of the day that was chicken mais tortilla suppillae. the suppe has culminated my interest so that we have naturally ordered that together with a chimi chicken panini and the press caprese. everything was made to order, so we had a place for about 10 minutes before eating was ready. we weren't in a hurry. the food came nice and hot and was delicious all around. the suppe was absolutely amazing, amd the paninis were packed with taste. it was nice to experience something other than the usual sandwich shops. if they get the chance, they will get their press on!
I can't say enough good dinge about press by spanglish. as a puerto ricanerin itself, this food brings incredible memories and the kitchen of my grandmother back. every time I come, I'll be blown away by the menu and authenticity. every article I had was stellar. I propose to try each of the empanadas and go for a bowl. you will not regret it.
I got the turkey bacon club, my wife got 1/2 pressed chicken sandwich and a pear walnut cranberry salad. My sandwich was huge thick pieces of turkey in a kind of southwest spices, with crispy thick bacon, and some salad and tomatoes, served on a few slices of bread that really held together. I couldn't believe how big the sandwich was! The meat was tender and juicy, great aromas. The chicken sandwich was good, but the salad was brilliant, many pear cuts, walnut halves and dried cranberries, with blue cheese crumbs above. A bit more pricier than we expected to spend for lunch, but it was worth it!
I would definelty give this place a two thumbs up! The service was amazing, the girl serving us up front was so kind and patient being that we didn’t know what we wanted for the longest time. Then when we got the food which was fairly quick, just the looks of it looked homemade and fresh! I got the empanadas which looked delicious and fluffy! My husband got a sandwich which was stuffed with ingredients and made him full and satisfied by the end and my son got chicken nuggets which we tried of course and it was all just a great meal and experience! Would definitely recommend!
