Description

Port City Java, tucked among campus buildings, is a lively, student-favorite café where scratch-made bagels, robust coffee and smoothies pair with comfortable lounge seating ideal for studying. Service is consistently professional and efficient—led by an acclaimed general manager—so busy periods still move quickly and orders are reliable. Prices can be higher than nearby options, signage is subtle, and some menu options (like whipped cream) aren't always available, but overall it’s a warm, inviting spot worth the short wait.

It can get quite busy here, but I have immense respect for the professionalism, speed, and efficiency of the baristas. I've never encountered any customer service problems, and the wait times are never too long, even when it's crowded. My orders are always accurate and delicious. I just wish it were open during breaks, as it's my favorite coffee spot and I live nearby. However, the wait is definitely worth it when classes aren't in session.

The general manager at this restaurant is outstanding. I've been visiting for around two years, and each time, Miss Smith has provided exceptional service to me and my guests. She is an excellent manager who runs the establishment wonderfully, and she truly deserves significant recognition for her hard work and dedication.

I would really appreciate it if you could offer whipped cream as an option for lattes. I usually have to mention it in the order comments, but I only receive it about half the time. Thank you!

The GM here is phenomenal. I've been going here for about two years and every single time, Miss Smith has taken care of me and anyone I've brought with me. She's an excellent manager, runs a great store, and deserves a great amount of recognition forwhat she does.
