The Sunday Roast was a bit tough, but the accompanying vegetables were enjoyable. Despite some timing issues with food delivery, the service was friendly and attentive. While outdoor dining may be marred by noise from nearby drivers, the quality of the food and service at Plates Kitchen makes it a great spot for a date night or night out with friends. With accommodating staff who can modify dishes for dietary restrictions, Plates Kitchen offers a memorable culinary experience that is deserving of a return visit.

This was a special pairing dinner at Plates, where alcoholic beverages were paired with specially prepared courses. Tonight's pairing included five courses with different types of meats. Outstanding!
The special dinner and medallion event were absolutely fantastic. I attended alone, but was treated with respect and felt included. The event included food, a medal, and a knowledgeable host who discussed the history of the dishes and beverages. The staff did a great job of presenting the courses in a timely manner. I recommend speaking with the staff to learn more about their other offerings and events. Overall, the food was phenomenal and prepared with great care and appreciation for the medallion.

My partner and I had a wonderful date night at Plates! The atmosphere was perfect for conversation while being lively enough to create a nice energy in the space. The service was fantastic. We both have dietary restrictions (he has celiac disease) and needed accommodations. Our server was very knowledgeable and the chef offered dish modifications so that we could have our first choices from the menu. Finally the food was wonderful. I had the market salad with salmon and maple vinaigrette dressing and it was so artfully put together that the combination of flavors for this simple dish made irking of the most memorable dishes (certainly salads) I’ve ever eaten. My partner had a seasonal mushroom curry and loved it. We will definitely be back before too long, hopefully while the braised short ribs are still on the menu!!
