What User doesn't like about Pam's Farmhouse:
This restaurant offers truly American food, but don't expect anything spicy. The portions are generous. I ordered a lunch item called "chicken pastry", which turned out to be just dumpling wrappers boiled in chicken stock with a hint of black pepper and a small amount of rotisserie chicken. The deviled egg and potato salad sides were tasty and substantial. They also serve fresh biscuits and hushpuppies. My husband ha... View all feedback.
Authentic southern cuisine. In Nashville, Tennessee, we call it "meat and three." The meatloaf, tea, sides, and biscuits were excellent. The service was friendly and homey. Oh, and the deviled eggs, goodness gracious, were amazing. Cash only.
I had breakfast at this restaurant during a weekend trip to Raleigh. The veggie omelette, served with applesauce, was delicious. The servers really pay attention to your requests and toasted the bread lightly with just the right amount of butter, as I like it. Their sweet tea is perfect and they offer unlimited refills. The atmosphere inside is cozy and everyone is warm and welcoming.
The breakfast was fantastic, the biscuits were amazing, and Lisa provided excellent service. Our coffee cups were always refilled, and the staff greeted us with plenty of smiles. This charming family-owned restaurant is a must-visit, and we will definitely be returning.
This restaurant is cash only and offers breakfast all day as well as lunch options. They close at 2pm. My daughter ordered French Toast and I opted for a vegetable plate. Both dishes were delicious. Pam's offers a variety of fresh vegetables on their menu which changes daily. I enjoyed butter beans, corn, yams, cucumbers and collard greens, all of which tasted fresh and were fantastic. The meal comes with a biscuit and hush puppies. Pam's is a popular and quintessentially Southern eatery. The staff, from the hostess to the wait staff and cashier, are very friendly and address you with endearing terms like honey, sweetie, sugar, and darling. Give it a try, but don't forget they only accept cash.
Pam's is a locally owned restaurant that only accepts cash. The lunch menu changes daily and offers a variety of meats and vegetables to choose from. A special mention to the friendly hostess who had a bubbly personality. All the staff, including the wait staff and cashier, are very friendly. I ordered the vegetable plate which came with fresh tomato slices, real mashed potatoes, field peas and snaps, and cabbage. Everything was delicious and their biscuits were especially tasty. I will definitely be returning to this excellent Southern food restaurant.
