The staff at this restaurant was really kind and there were many delicious options to choose from. The Mediterranean food was some of the best I've had, especially since I was looking for low carb options. The portions were perfect and even my husband, who typically doesn't eat much, left feeling full. Overall, I felt like the money was well spent. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mezeh Mediterranean Grill (hillsborough):
Extremely overpriced. NOT worth the cost. Very little protein and only four (4) toppings allowed on a wrap. This must be a recent change for the worse. Used to have unlimited toppings and a good amount of protein. Don't waste your money. Go elswhere. View all feedback.
It was close to closing, so there was a lot of things that were not available, but what I tried was amazing. the lemon feta dressing especially really hard on me.
Starting with the bad: they didn’t have a menu anywhere inside except a QR code you scan to get to the ingredients option list but no prices, which made being a first time customer really overwhelming. We came at a normal dinner time hours before they closed and it wasn’t busy at all but they were also out of half of the ingredients options so there wasn’t much to pick from. The greens options looked pretty wilted and tired. The pita bread is so coated in flour on the outside it just tastes like raw flour. The good: the food that we were able to get was pretty good and flavorful but the rice and meats were cold which was disappointing. The price point is what you expect to pay for a grain salad bowl place like this. We asked if they had falafel because it was empty at the ingredients bar and then they fried some up fresh for us so that was very good. The service was pretty quick. Overall what we got was fine but not something I would rave about to other people.
To my surprise, this was delicious and customer service was on point. They gave me fresh everything! Hats off to the Tee that cooked my lamb medium for ME! I'll be back with company... Coming from NYC, it's very hard to get good food like this in the south. NO disrespect to anyone in NC but a lot of people agree.

This location has really gone down the tubes recently. They've maintained an 84.5 Health Score since July. Which is a real accomplishment, you almost have to try hard to get that low for so long without correcting it. We came in on a weekday evening. The food when we went there was hammered, from wilting greens to overcooked beef chicken, to kefke that looked both raw burned. Plus their mise en place was not done well as they had several holes in their line. Plus their sauces looked just off.Our server didn't have a hat or hair net on, had long sharp fake nails, and after finishing our food kept touching her hair repeatedly. She did put on gloved but her nails were rather pointed so could have poked inadvertent holes without her being able to tell. We read their latest health report after we got home and tossed our food before eating as it didn't look safe. We now wish we'd turned around and left before ordering.Shame, the place used to be decent. Now, not so much.Note: one of us is a chef by trade and the other has worked BoH before.
