My friend and I had a good experience. Cocktails were good, bartender was funny. You have zero food here (except snacks you can basically make from a machine) that is a bit of a crash. It is a good first date drink spot, but not a super intimate, dark, atmospheric vibes spot.

That was one of the best experiences I ever had in a cocktail bar. Duke was an amazing server! Very informal and charismatic. He had great recommendations and a very beautiful smile. I had the little axe and the private smoked old-fashioned. Some of the best drinks I've ever tasted and very well balanced.

Came to the first time a few months ago with a friend to take a drink before a concert. it wasn't too busy when we came, so we had no problem finding a place. I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu, so I asked the barkeeper for recommendations and ended the selection of the little axt. the drink had a sweet and smoky taste and it was different than anything I ever tasted, super unique and delicious! overall I had a great experience, the bartenders were friendly, the drinks were great, and atmosphere was lively, but not overwhelming. I want to check the cary and Durham locations!

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the drinks were excellent. The private-label Old Fashioned was incredibly tasty, and the Bobby Babylon was just as delightful, featuring fried grapefruit and a hint of cinnamon.

My first time at this bar was the first weekend of the new year. I absolutely loved their selection and the cute ‘Beauty the Beast’ library ladder they have to reach all of the liquors!Unfortunately, the next morning when checking my bank statement, I realized I had been charged an EXTRA $20.86 outside of the 21% tip that was already given.This was posted during 2:45AM long after I left by 7PM the night before. Very sketchy..My bank is in the process of getting my money back so that’s great, but I want to be sure for future attendees to give the tip of KEEPING YOUR RECEIPTS! My bank explained to me that’s the biggest factor in one of these types of cases. Otherwise, it’s your word against theirs. And who wants that extra stress!Stay vigilant- even while drinking folks! And always read verify and keep those receipts. Hope this helps!
