Was Megan L at Coco Bongo a mag?
There are very few places that i frequent regularly. Coco Bongo is one of them. The food is always hot and amazing. The margs are the best in Raleigh and the atmosphere is exciting and lively. Feels like i'm actually in Mexico. Would definitely recommend for a dinner or lunch with family and friends. View all feedback.
What Jayson S dislikes about Coco Bongo:
The service at this restaurant is extremely frustrating; expect to wait at least 15 minutes before a waiter even brings you a menu. After ordering, it takes at least 30 minutes for the food to arrive, and the servers don’t display a professional attitude. The food itself is very bland, lacking seasoning and flavor, so don’t be fooled by the enticing pictures. Additionally, everything is overpriced. There are many bet... View all feedback.
This is my favorite restaurant in Raleigh. While I usually prefer higher-end places like Cowfish in North Hills or Midtown, the staff and service at this restaurant have consistently impressed me. I typically rate places 3 to 4 stars, but the welcoming attitude of multiple staff members who come to greet you makes it hard to give less than 5 stars. The food is absolutely fantastic—without a doubt, the best Mexican restaurant around. In fact, they could raise their prices by $2 on menu items because I'm definitely getting more than my money's worth! If anyone wants to see pictures or hear personal testimonials about how exceptional this place is, feel free to reach out to me directly. Better yet, let’s meet for lunch, and I can share this delightful Coco-Bongo experience with you!
I visited for the first time today with my daughter, and we absolutely loved it. I highly recommend the Quesadilla Grande—it's amazing!
Everything was excellent! The lunch portions were generous, and there were great drink specials. I definitely need to come back in the evening to take advantage of those offers!
