The food was excellent and good proportions. Top of the line halal food that you won’t find unless you go to New York. We got the chicken platters and chicken strips for children—I highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Good place for kids, place is clean and suitable for sitting. View all feedback.
What Lj Lj doesn't like about Madina Halal Platter:
I usually enjoy the food here, but if I return again, I will skip the gyro. This is the second time I ordered a gyro without sauce and, instead, got one doused in it. I literally had to rinse the filling to salvage it. View all feedback.
I'm from New York, where they serve some of the best gyros around. These are the best I've had in New Jersey.
Kid-friendliness: It's a great spot for children; the place is clean and comfortable for dining.
My mom took me to this restaurant, and I had the shrimp and rice with a small side salad. The food was incredibly good—truly delicious! They offer a wide variety of dishes, including breakfast options. I will definitely be going back. Food: 5/5.
I typically like the food here, but if I come back, I’ll definitely pass on the gyro. This is the second time I've ordered it without sauce, and both times I received one that was heavily coated in it. I actually had to rinse off the filling just to make it edible.
If they were out of food, they should have canceled the entire order. I was informed that there were no wings available, but not that they were out of chicken altogether. What was I supposed to do with just one piece of pita bread? This experience was disappointing, as I'm usually very happy with the food. Unfortunately, this time it was a complete lack of food that was the problem.
