Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most restaurants to be overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we walked in - that's a huge plus for me! After checking online reviews, schedule a last minute business lunch. We were not disappointed. From the provolenta (I think that's the name) and stuffed prawn starters to the delicious fillet and the spread for the rolls, our meal was delicious. The owner was behind the bar and was very accommodating. I will definitely come back on my next visit to the area.
The service is great. The food was great. The prices were fair. Overall, it was a good experience. Portions are too big.

Great for Father's Day as the portions are large and hefty. Airy high ceilings. Music of the type 'Frank Sinatra'. Very pleasant.
