We stayed at the Locanda COS and had dinner for the night. There's no menu. The chef and us talked earlier that day and he prepared food depending on what's good at the market and what we wanted to eat. It was simple, but quality was superb. We arrived for a much anticipated vineyard tour and lunch. Our tour was led by a lovely and very knowledgeable woman who explained how they use amphorae, clay jars to ferment their wines. This process is not widely used, but we were sure glad they did because the wines were fantastic. Especially, their super juicy red wine...Cerasuolo di Vittoria. The lunch was served in a splendid room with a huge fireplace and overlooked a lovely courtyard and their Inn. I would love to go back and stay here next time!

We went here for a degustation and a light lunch. The food was delicious and extremely tasty, and the wines fabulous! A very competent woman showed us round the azienda.
We were taken here by a well known local. Very pleasant setting outside, friendly service, quite good food. Worth trying. Michael F
I arrived with my wife via taxi to the beautiful locanda COS for a wine tasting and i was immediately fascinated with the beautiful appearance of the exterior of the hotel and winery. Had e-mailed prior to my visit Joanna who took very good care of my wife and I. Joanna was actually the only person from various wineries including Marabino and Occhipinti who was available for a wine tasting on a Sunday (i insisted for this day since it was my bday and wanted to drink a bit : . Joanna took us around the winery which was very beautiful and interesting and when the tour was over she took us in the restuarant section of the Locanda for a wine tasting. The place was very beautiful and magical, a converted farmhouse which was very romantic especially due to the fact of a huge fireplace in the middle of the room.Since it was my bday i had booked a wine tasting of 4 wines and a some hams and cheese platters; but Joanna gave us also a taste of a new (still in production sparkling wine of COS and also a glass of desert wine which was over and above for what we paid for : . Food was also very nice and good. All in all we can;t complain and would definately recommend this place.
