La Piazzetta - Ragusa

The Piazzetta restaurant is really nice and the owner and the staff are really very kind! Located a few steps from the cathedral of San Giorgio di Ragusa Iblea, you can sit under one of the shady umbrellas in the small square in front of the restaurant near a gushing fountain and taste the delicious dishes on their menu. The house starter is very good (caponata and delicious local cheeses , and the first courses are also excellent (spaghetti with lemon, ravioli filled with ricotta with Ibleo pig ragù . The waiting times were a little long but it was worth it! Super highly recommended!

I highly recommend this restaurant, which I went to with my family during the Easter holidays. All the dishes were excellent and of good quality, the internal location was very welcoming and the staff were really kind, with a lot of attention even towards small children. 100% guaranteed restaurant! One of the best meals I have had. Highly recommend. Excellent food, impeccable service and amazing ambiance. We had the grilled tuna, orange and fennel salad and rigatoni with fennel and sausage ragu followed by cannoli.
