From the first smile of the staff when we entered the Shack we knew we were in for a treat. The avocado toast came with a half of avocado with walnut crumbs and a GF toast with seeds that tasted like a real sourdough had goat cheese, basil oil, candied onion, perfectly ripe heirloom tomatoes basil. The zucchini fritter had chickpea flour with Indian spices, two perfectly poached eggs and chilly jam. Both were mouthwatering!
Great atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff. Got the scrambled eggs potatoes and chilli crunch rice chicken. Both very flavoursome and potatoes were perfectly crispy. Thought the rice dish was perhaps a little on the small side but made up for it in taste :
The Shack keeps getting better and better. I had an amazing burger with a gluten-free bun and their famous curly fries. Everything was served with a smile. I really enjoyed the new layout of the restaurant.
My favorite place to visit in Raglan for a delicious treat. The legendary Lemon Slice has always been my top choice, but today I tried the Salted Caramelised Pear and Almond slice.
I absolutely adore The Shack. I find myself there almost every day! The food is fantastic, the staff is lovely, and the ambiance is always inviting with good music and simple yet charming decor. Is there anything I missed? Keep up the great work!
