Prices out of reach, two half-cocked baked dishes, sliced to leaf, paid 6€ each! Difficult meat dishes but lack of quantity. Water and beer with prices above average. We're back and hungry home! Osteria Al Bivio is a very nice and cosy place where you can enjoy a cuisine based on meat or fish, both outdoor and indoor (the local is located near a roundab... read more Osteria Al Bivio is a very nice and cosy place where you can enjoy a cuisine based on meat or fish, both outdoor and indoor (the local is located near a roundabout of Davoli Marina della SS106 which was once a crossroads, so you will find yourself close to the road. The mixed appetizer is an interesting experience that I recommend as rich in various typical courses (ceeds, peppers and potatoes, anchovies, rice meatballs or potatoes and with 'nduja and many other tastes that accompany a vast assortment of meats and cheeses, complete with sausage, suppressed and Calabrian capocollo. It is an orderly dish for minimum 2 people that costs little less than 40 euros (perhaps the cost is a bit excessive but the experience is worth, especially to try some typical specialties of the area (Davoli, Catanzaro . The dishes are beautiful, as well as good (even the eye wants its part... , the friendly and rather attentive service (courses have always been served at the same time to all, involving more waiters and normal waiting times (finally, because here in the area there are realities where you wait up to 30 minutes to take the order, another 40 minutes for the first course and at least another half an hour for the second, which often arrive at spizzico and mouths. We, in five, took 2 typical mixed appetizers, a mixed appetizer of sea, a first to head, sweet or sorbet, water and a liter of wine of the house, spending little more than 40 euros per head, certainly remaining satisfied.

Friendly staff, at... read more Honest dinner in a cool summer evening, as it cheats on the place is very nice! Warm indoor environment that has a not know what of medieval! Friendly staff, at hand and very prepared waiters on the menu and very helpful with children! Excellent food quality (fresh fish, silane potatoes, local cheeses, homemade desserts) and cooking of the second and side dishes (fish grilled, roasted potatoes, tuna steak and grilled vegetables) perfect! The sugo pasta of the baby was a little sloppy and we did not take other first so we can not evaluate, but the dressing was great (also considered as out menu, therefore extra point for the adaptation that unfortunately to some weighs)! Fresh salad and excellent homemade desserts, not too high for the quality of raw materials and food in general! Notes of demerit: 2€ of over-covered in my opinion, especially in Davoli in 2023! all received bruschettes with welcome cherry tomatoes cited in many other reviews while we did not, so we thought we were ugly and dislike ... but beyond this really a place that does not disappoint.
