Location of the restaurant (and the hotel) is beautiful. Interior of the restaurant is very nicely decorated - combination of traditional austrian and modern. The dinner we had was very nice (I had a great steak, and my partner something vegetarian - cannot remeber what it was, but it was good ;-). And the service was great, very attentive. What User doesn't like about Winterbauer:
We come to had dinner, the environment was not friendly, no English menu or speakers. The food was fair but not something to remember. We asked for the best dish of the place, pancakes, and it was served barnes. Overall does not deserve the special drive. View all feedback.
Dinner went to the hill of Altenmarkt, which lasted about 40min, actually on foot. The food was local and good, the ambience is high mountain style. Service was friendly and efficient. The best part was tobogganing on the way to the city. They charge 4 eur per sled. Great fun run is illuminated and safe to do with children at night. You'll get wet!
Decreased, all positive points are there, it is the service as usual that leaves the place down. Better than usual, but only average. Not hospitable, not welcome.
Surprisingly good restaurant hidden on a mountain in Flachau. Fits both Carnivores and vegetarians. Dishes we tried and enjoyed: Haus Burger (was excellent! Schleier Schnitzel and Nuggets (children's dishes Spinach dumplings tomatoes and ginger soup Spring Rolls Avocado Salad with sun tries tomatoes
Beautifully decorated austrian and modern. The dinner we had was very nice, fresh, local taste. Wide range of food (meat or vegetarian). I recommend Desserts. Large selection of hot drinks that are not like in another restaurant
Best positioned restaurant in the region with breath taking views in all directions. Wonderfully set, laid out and equipped, it is a real treat in summer. Do walk around the grounds and explore everything. Super children friendly in summer. It is a hotel as well with great facilities. Food and beverages average. Restaurant service not great, sometimes really poor, it lets the place down, management not at all attentive to this. Pity, this is the only drawback
