What User doesn't like about Smoking Jey’s Caribbean Grill:
The food was delicious. The only issue was that the oxtail was very large, making it difficult to eat around the bone. However, overall I enjoyed my first meal at the restaurant. I will definitely be back. View all feedback.
The customer service at this restaurant is friendly and inviting! The food is delicious, especially the curry goat and ox tails. I had been driving past this place for a while before finally deciding to stop in, and I recommend you do the same! I'm excited to try the whole fried fish on my next visit.
This restaurant is easily one of my favorites. We tried a variety of dishes including rice and beans, mac and cheese, cabbage, goat curry, and jerk chicken. We also ordered a side of plantains because Caribbean food just isn't complete without them! Everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The staff even went above and beyond by giving us a taste of their oxtail when they ran out of full plates. I couldn't stop thinking about those oxtails and plantains all night! I will definitely be returning to support this small, local business. I recommend calling ahead if you have a specific dish in mind, as they tend to sell out of popular items quickly. Be sure to check their Facebook page for any updates on hours and specials.

Visited for a quick lunch date. The building doesn’t look like much but the food is amazing. We got the curry goat and jerk chicken. The goat was tender and rich but not gamey, and the chicken was subtly spicy. All sides were delicious, especially the addictive rice and beans. Portions were huge…. I’m a 220 lb army guy and the goat is easily three lunches for me. Great prices. Super friendly people too, which is always a plus. We’ll defiantly add this place to the regular rotation.
