I tried this place a couple of times but not for their AYCE hot pot. I usually get their dry mala pot. You need to order each item separately. My usual order would be with fried white fish fillet, fish tofu, wood ears, lotus root and sliced potatoes. It's pretty good and not too spicy as compared to other mala places. View all feedback.
What Luilui L doesn't like about Tai Xi Hot Pot:
The front dest service just a joke. I paid and waited there for ten minutes. Suddenly I noticed my order had been ready the whole time and sat on the other table. Excuse you? What was I waiting for and the employee didn't know what she's doing! View all feedback.

I ordered via DoorDash for delivery. The chicken teriyaki bento had almost no teriyaki sauce. The bubble tea seal had been broken and was taped shut- so sketchy! It still spilled everywhere. The $5.99 crème brûlée is pictured next to a quarter for scale. I got a refund and will never order from this place again. Wish I could give zero stars, luckily I got my money back
Swung over here after the hot pot place across the street had a longer wait (will dine there and review in the future) and although the exterior doesn't appear as provocative and enticing as the other one, we were pleasantly surprised by the neat and clean interior. Staff was great friendly and professional. Thai C has an extensive menu, featuring mala dishes, hot pot, main dishes and an all you can eat hot pot menu. We were a bit overwhelmed by the number of menus we had to juggle so we chose the all you can eat hot pot route (which didn't include items from other menus) to keep it simple. Our two soup bases were 1) egg yolk chicken fish maw (though I could've misnamed it) and 2) tomato and if you order the first one, you'll just want to drink away the broth before the meat and veggies hit the table. It was definitely one of the most interesting, cleanly rich and savory broths we've ever had. Would absolutely return for this broth!
Tried Thai C for the first time yesterday. The place is clean and has modern decor and seating. They have AYCE menu $31/pp) and a-la-cart menu. We did a-la-cart. We chose their signature Tom Yum broth, it was slightly creamy from the coconut but good. We ordered a variety of food and popcorn chicken for appetizer. I especially like their Kumquat Lemonade, very refreshing. Food portion was great, not too much nor little. Service was quick and we had no issues ordering. They have a small Sauce Bar so you can customize your sauce. There's even recommendations on how to make your sauce with the broth you pick on the wall which I thought was nice to have for hotpot newbies.
