Both times we were really impressed with the friendly demeaner of staff, quality of the food, and service. We had a great conversation with the young Co-owner and manager of this family-owned and run Ecuadoriano restaurant. Our only critique beyond being very impressed was they could cut the lumens in their exceptionally “clean, well-lighted” nighttime ambiance and better illuminate their rear entrance which can be difficult to find on the fairly dark street. They purposely chose not to have a common entrance with the disco on Calle Mariscal Foch, which makes sense given the sensibilities of Miskay. What that means is better signed/lighted entrance to the rear. It’s a three floor walk up in a nice lighted stairwell so once you find the door it’s no problem getting to the restaurant! I’d give it five stars and is easily one of the quietest, cleanest best staffed restaurants in Quito.
